thanksgiving happenings

Thanksgiving was spent in Wisconsin. The last time we were there, Jude was only 7 weeks old. This year he was saying "hi" incessantly and "goot" while pointing to Uncle Cliff and Aunt Lanie's dog.

Here he is hanging out with Uncle cliff and "Goot." We are very proud to have a son who is not afraid of creatures much larger than him. (the dog that is, not uncle Cliff)

We had a little "late" birthday party for Jude. He share's his birthday with his cousin Emily. She turned 12. As you can see the cake was made primarily for Jude. Twelve year old girls probably don't ask for "dump truck" cakes.

After lots of yummy chocolate cake, a bath is required of the two youngest. Jude and Jake hanging out in the tub. Fun!

Jeneva and Emily spent hours coloring. Emily was a good example to Jeneva.....she is now getting much better at coloring in the lines. Thanks, Emily!

From left to right: Jude, Jake, Leanna, Jeneva, Matthew. The five youngest of the cousins. They had much fun sleeping together, bathing together, and just running around together.

Oh look...Jude isn't following directions. When will he ever learn?!

We had much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! Now I cannot believe that Christmas is only 3 weeks away.

How fun to see some family photos! (even though it makes me so sad not to be able to do the same thing for the holidays).

Oh Tiff this reminds me of times when we'd come to Iowa for holidays and all you little cousins had sooo much fun together - dressing up, dancing to Johnny Cash LP's in the basement, braving a blizzard to see if we could possibly make it to Village Inn didn't make it :-(- us parents had fun crazy times also!!! Wow, those are some good memories.
